A graduate student community outreach event, organized by Dr. Cindy Persinger and Bruce Gallery Director Lisa Austin took place December 2, 2022 at the Bruce Gallery.
Graduate Student Community Outreach
During the Fall 2022 semester, Dr. Cindy Persinger worked with PennWest Edinboro Graduate Seminar students to organize a most impressive community outreach evening at the Bruce Gallery's Sur(face) show. Faculty, staff, students, and community members attended the event.
The audience was engaged in answering questions (via stickers), posing for a Polaroid portrait, reading the wall text, listening to music, chatting and enjoying the refreshments.
The interactive elements introduced by your students were well received and we look forward to them being incorporated into future events at the Bruce.
